WhatsApp has started rolling out a new privacy feature globally, giving users more control over their visibility and data. The update introduces Enhanced Privacy Controls, allowing users to hide their online status, profile photo, and last seen from specific contacts.
The update also improves Group Invite Protection, reducing the chances of being added to unwanted or spam groups. According to WhatsApp, the feature will be available to all users within the next few days through a regular app update.
Users who haven’t received the update yet can simply update WhatsApp from the Play Store or App Store. This new enhancement aims to increase user security and make messaging safer and more private across the platform.
